Leap the Synth is a 12-stage puzzle platforming level escape game where you must use the beat of the music to jump and make your way to the exit at the end of each stage. Watch out for bugs, fireballs, spikes & disappearing platforms! This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Select the level you would like to play on the game’s welcome screen.
- Initially only the first level is unlocked.
- You unlock a level each time you beat one.
- Locked levels are gray & unlocked levels are the color of the sun.
- You can replay beat levels at any point in time.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
- The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner.

    - Move left by pressing the A or left arrow keys.
    - Move right by pressing the D or right arrow keys.
    - You can not press a button to jump, but rather jump whenever you stand on a blue block
    - Touchscreen devices
      - The move left button is in the lower left corner of the screen.
      - The move right button is in the lower right corner of the screen.
      - The game has a level select button in the upper right corner.
      - Game Play
        
        Dying
        
        You die if you fall off platform, hit the side of an enemy, or run into either spikes or a fireball.
        
        This game offers unlimited continues & you restart at the beginning of the level you last played.
        
        Levels
        
        This game has 12 levels which must be unlocked in sequential order.
        
        Early levels are quite easy, though as you expand through the levels you get additional difficulties including:
        
        faster beat
        
        moving spikes which hurt you in 2 out of 3 beats
        
        fireballs you must jump over with limited clearance
        
        floor that disappears
        
        faster moving enemies
        
        larger enemy sizes
        
        Strategy
        
        Portions of this game require you to time many consecutive movements, while other parts of the game are slower moving.
        
        If you are struggling on a level try to break it down into smaller chunks that are easier to manage and rest in between so you ensure your timing is perfect before doing the next arduous part.
        
        Level tips
        
        On level 7 the horizontal fireballs portion of the level is quite hard. Stand below it until you get the timing right to where your head just misses jumping into a fireball which passed, then move to the next blue block and use it to jump over the next fireball, then do the same again & make it to the ledge above. Rest there before going to the top so you can plan your remaining strategy around not getting hit by that bug.
        
        On level 10 near the end of the level there is no blue box to bounce you up to the finish. Instead you have to bounce on 4 enemies in a row.
